Here is a quick update on the status of my bike, "Matilda", she is in the shop at Streits motorsports in Gainsville, Florida. I went by there today to check on her and found out the problem is the igniter, the device that controls the spark not the spark plug itself. If it were not covered under warranty it would be a $450 part. the neutral safety switch is also bad.
